The Positive Vibe team won the challenge with a breakfast burrito highlighted by a coffee-rubbed beef.
We did not do the burrito for the chefs challenge. We did a Coffee Rubbed Flank Steak Salad,Grilled Chicken with Goat Chees and Fresh Fruit Salsa(the big hit) and a grilled vegetable platter.
Nobody lost the challenge. Crowd loved it, and both teams showed what can be done with the produce and meats from the market.
Sorry for the misunderstanding- the Vibe’s Sunday Brunch menu suggested the burrito was the dish that won the challenge.
How does one team win but the other team not lose? /confused
Figure of speech, Caitlin. Lighten up.
Interesting. SOTJ Market does chef’s challenge for positive Vibe, with no tax dollars involved. 17th Street is having chef’s challenge this week with budget of $27,000 taxpayer dollars.
Goes to show.
