The plans to widen FH Ave? Does this plan concern the portion east of the blvd or the western part in to Bon Air and which part of Jahnke?

Forest Hill from Powhite to Hthaway.
Jahnke from Forest hill to Blakemore.
FH from Huguenot High School west is in Chesterfield, and they have no interest in widening.

    Thanks David
IMO the Jahnke widening is way long overdue. Perhaps it would give good reason for the traffic light at Elizebeth Redd School. I think its the first time I’ve ever seen a traffic light for a residential driveway.

I hope the widening of Forest Hill from Powhite to Hathaway includes sidewalks. These are also long overdue!

How much can they really widen FH through there? Not enough to add a lane I’m sure but enough to make the lanes wider perhaps? I agree on the sidewalks though. That little dirt path on the south side of Forest Hill Ave. just doesn’t cut it.

From the DPW handout, the ROW is already 70-90 feet. Proposed is 95′, so some areas will need little or no acquistion, Other portions will need to take up to 25′. I have been told the Willow oaks CC has offered frontage to the city just to reduce the accident rate there.
