Jimmy Sneed comes south

Carena’s Jamaican Grille is the latest restaurant to spring from the always entertaining Jimmy Sneed. Style’s Brandon Fox takes a proper look at the place, a collaboration with Carena Ives of Jamaica House fame, and seems to like what she sees.

I love that on the restaurant’s website, on the little location map, anything west of about Buford Road is “Where Dragons Be”.

Conch fritters on south side — I’m definitely stopping by there sometime soon!

Call me a Philistine, but I’d prefer that Friendly’s was still open instead of the GERD inducing flavors of the Caribean. Teh bestust breakfast evar! And you could get a sundae at ten in the morning!
