Westover Hills Library Advisory Group

The Westover Hills Library Advisory Group invites you to join them at their next meeting, Saturday, September 8th at 9:00AM. The Group is a volunteer 501 (c )(3) organization of dedicated individuals which helps promote wider use of the library’s literary and lifelong learning resources.

If you’d like to join us or for more information, please contact the library at 646-8833 or drop by the library at 1408 Westover Hills Boulevard.

Ongoing Activities:


Advocacy for resources and funding on behalf of the library
Beautification, clean-ups and facility assistance
Funding resources and programming for the library
Articles in neighborhood newsletters to update community and bring issues to the attention of residents
Library staff and community may bring concerns or requests to this group
Special events and programming (Fall Festival, Winterfest, Summer Reading Kick Off and Bake Sale) to bring people into the library
Occasional Author’s Nights
Ukrop’s Golden Gift, Book Drives and Other Fund Raisers

We invite your ideas and suggestions, and hope you’ll share your time and talents with us. We typically meet the first Saturday of every month except for July and August. Any level of involvement is welcome. The group has lots of fun!
