Possible local shooting?

The Times-Dispatch is reporting some conflicting information on an overnight shooting. According to their article, “[p]olice responded to a shooting call in the city’s East End at 25 E. 34th St.” Of course, E. 34th Street is in the vicinity of Midlothian Turnpike, not the East End (and I don’t believe there’s a 0 block of North or South 34th up on The Hill). No other media outlets have picked this up yet, as far as I can find, but more as it develops.

Didn’t hear anything about a shooting but police were all over the area and patting down a suspected drug dealer.

I think the reporter didn’t realize that North and South streets are East End, and East and West streets are in southside. It was most definitely in southside, though. I saw the blue lights on 34th St with my very own eyes.

Well, It would make sense if the shooting happened on Southside. We heard several shots fired last night in the Moody Ave area.

nbc12 seems to have it right, though with no real information.
